Job Description
An opportunity awaits a diligent and detail-oriented Licensed Pharmacist to join a dynamic team within a closed-door mail order pharmacy environment. The primary role involves conducting prescription reviews and data quality checks to ensure accuracy in medication, dose, strength, directions, quantity, and patient safety information. The position requires standing for 8-hour shifts, with movement around the pharmacy.
The role also includes handling inbound and outbound calls with doctor's offices and provider offices regarding prescription inquiries, as well as outbound communication to pharmacies or members. Additionally, the successful candidate will provide patient and family education on medication over the phone.
Hard Skills
- Licensed Pharmacist with the ability to handle high-volume tasks efficiently.
- Experience with mail-order pharmacy operations.
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with healthcare professionals and patients.
- Strong attention to detail for accurate prescription reviews and data checking.

Work Environment & Schedule
This is a full-time position operating Monday through Friday with shifts from 8am-6pm.
