What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Test Engineer position at Actalent?
Description:
- This position will primarily support product test activities including but not limited to the following:
- Tester certification/calibration
- Troubleshooting test failures for both production and field return assets
- Perform acceptance testing following documented test procedures,
- Populating test logs/data sheets
Skills:
Hardware, Test engineering, oscilloscopes
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- BSEE Degree (or equivalent) and 0-2 years of hands on experience (either from coursework, projects or internships)
- Demonstrated experience with hardware/lab troubleshooting equipment (multi-meters, O-scopes, etc)
- Be proficient in the use of various types of computers and software programs
- Be able to read and understand drawing, schematics, blueprints, and technical publications
- Have the ability to write test reports in detail
- Production Troubleshooting Experience
- Be familiar with basic troubleshooting protocols
