Project Geotechnical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Project Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. This individual will provide geotechnical engineering expertise through analysis and design, manage projects, supervise staff engineers, and interface with clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide geotechnical engineering expertise through analysis and design.
• Manage geotechnical projects from inception to completion.
• Supervise and mentor staff engineers.
• Conduct field investigations and construction observations.
• Interface with clients to provide project updates and address concerns.
• Prepare technical reports and proposals.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Master’s degree with Geotechnical emphasis.
• PE license.
• 6 years of related geotechnical experience.
• 3 years of field experience with geotechnical investigations and construction observation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in PA and NJ.
• Technical writing skills.
• Construction planning.

Work Environment

This position offers a hybrid work environment, starting with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home, transitioning to 2 days in the office and 3 days from home after a few months. The Philadelphia office has 90 employees. Benefits include 2 weeks of PTO (with comp time available), free lunch every Wednesday and free breakfast every Thursday, and a $500 home office stipend.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $123500.00
