What are the responsibilities and job description for the QC Chemist position at Actalent?

- Perform tests on finished products before they are sent to their clients
- Wet chemistry testing: pH, IR, moisture, ID test
- Will get into HPLC and GC work in the future
- Ability to weigh samples, pipette, and prepare laboratory solutions.
- Performs or assists with basic calibrations.
- Maintains a cGMP laboratory notebook, data, forms, and/or logbook.
- Assists in maintaining a clean, organized QC laboratory.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- B.S. chemistry, biochemistry, biology or related life science field (need to have taken Analytical chemistry) with undergraduate research experience or summer internship experience.
- Any HPLC and GC experience is a plus!
