Description:
- Ability to work alone
- Responsible for release and in-process testing from the operators. Test materials, and finished products.
- Proficient with UV, KF, HPLC, GC, FTIR
- Interprete Chromotography data - Data management system, chemstation or Chromeleon
- Move 55 G drums on drug carts.
- 25lb lifting requirement
- They may not do validations but will review data calculations for validations. need to be able to perform calculations.
- Follow all applicable procedures, specifications, and test methods
- Capable of clearly documenting all GMP activities accurately and legibly.
- Responsible for the execution of wet and analytical chemistry during the analysis of raw material, intermediates and API products.
- Must be proficient with laboratory instrumentation including HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV-Vis, KF
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed on QC instrumentation
- Prepare and standardize volumetric solutions
- Must be proficient at interpreting and reviewing analytical data
- Must be able to assess if the material meets specifications for release
- Provides information and documentation responses in cases of customer complaints or returns
- Performs and reviews critical and complex calculations
- Must be able to write procedures, test methods, protocols and reports, and material specifications
- Supports the environment of consistent compliance with procedures, both internal and regulatory, through training, guidance and review of procedures.
- Meet deadlines as provided by QC Manager
- Other general QC duties as required
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
BS Degree in the Sciences (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology)
2 years experience as a chemist in industry
Experience with HPLC, GC
2 years experience Excel (complex calculations, linearity calculations, method validations)
Experience with a data management system, such as Chemstation or Chromeleon is a plus
