A well-established areospace company is actively hiring for Quality Assurance Inspectors to join their growing team in Sun Valley, CA.
Job Description:
The Quality Assurance Inspector ensures product complies with customer and specification inspection criteria.
As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will lead and work alongside a team of inspection personnel to ensure product is thoroughly inspected and dispose of any questionable product. The Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for driving and maintaining the departments and team objectives and assuring they are met.
Essential Duties:
· Perform visual inspection of customer product and ensure compliance to company and industry specifications and standards.
· Check physical appearance of parts for compliant to established industry workmanship and customer standards, such as blisters and edge
pullback.
· Perform and verify requirements as outlined in process specifications.
· Support less experienced inspectors, by assisting with informal training that utilize and reference company and industry specifications and
standards.
· Review records for completeness, as required, including Shop Travelers, Process changes, Nonconforming Report, Rework documentation,
test data, etc.
· Perform assigned internal audits.
· Interface, as required, with Production, Quality, and Internal Customers.
· Train the inspection personnel of nonconforming visual criteria.
· Generate a non-conformance document for discrepant product.
Pay:
· $25/hr-$35/hr. based on experience
Shift:
· 1st and 2nd shift available
Qualifications:
· Prior experience in aerospace or other disruptive manufacturing industries
· Prior experience in a rapid growing environment
· Basic ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
· Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
· Team oriented, strong ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment and to multiple deadlines.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively and efficiently.
· Over 1 to 3 years’ experience within field.
· Experience with NADCAP Quality system and Chemical Process is a plus.
