Job Title: Quality Control Lab Technician

Position Overview:

As a Quality Control Lab Technician, you will be responsible for conducting production batch and finished product checks to ensure quality control standards are met in accordance with internal SOPs and FDA/GMP requirements. You will perform routine quality control activities, maintain cleanliness and stock of the QC area and lab, and assist in the inspection of raw materials. Your duties will include testing and adjusting production batches, performing instrumental analyses, completing all associated paperwork, evaluating data, approving tankers for loading and unloading, and performing testing based on customer complaints or returns. In addition to these duties, you will be responsible for assisting in the company’s compliance to current Good Manufacturing Practices and communicating pertinent issues to other shifts.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Chemistry (Or another core science field like Biology, or Biochemistry).
• Prior Quality Control lab work.
• Knowledge and working experience with High Performance Liquid Chromatography and/or Gas Chromatography.
• Wet Chemistry techniques.
• Data entry and evaluation
• Ability to collaborate in a team setting.
• Great communication skills (both verbal and written). Candidates will be interacting with the production team, as well as other lab personnel on a daily basis.
• Experience working in a regulated environment having to adhere to compliance measures.
• Strong attention to detail.
