What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Engineer position at Actalent?
Description:
This person will be working in a cross functional team. They will come in each day and get into customer specific portals to check corrective actions. They will then problem solve using 8D, 5Y or 3 legged 5Y methodologies to complete the corrective actions. They will be involved with completing the PPAPS and will be dependent on where they are in the launch. This person will be assigned customers and suppliers. They will be very hands on working with production to create and train on job instructions. This person will also be responsible for doing gage RR for the products.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of quality engineer experience
- APQP/PPAP
- PFMEA
- Root cause/corrective action experience
- Customer communication
- IATF experience
