Description:
This position acts as the primary contact for customers regarding quality related activity during and after product launch Customer quality liaison for new model development and mass production problem reporting Schedules and conducts internal/external customer related problem solving meetings Creates quality standards and boundary samples for management approval Assist Production/Engineering in quality improvement and identifying gaging needs Supports the dimensional evaluation of parts and tooling, including set-up and operation of gaging, as well as Automatic Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs)

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology, or Quality related fields, or equivalent certifications / experience. • Experience in automotive industry preferred with an understanding of IATF 16949/ISO 9001. • Proficiency in Microsoft office applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with all levels of the organization and with Customers • Familiarity with AIAG Standards APQP, PPAP, MSA, FMEA, SPC preferred • Understanding of statistical techniques • Ability to lead and report in quality related meetings • Exhibits sound problem-solving techniques • Ability to evaluate and verify color. • Experience with Automatic Coordinate Measurement Machines a plus.
