Description:
This is a quality lab technician role. The candidate will be working within a lab setting. Basic Duties include: Check in process and finished products Strength/tensile testing Width/ruler GC- prepare sample, load it into GC, log results. Review for color standards Test seal strength Document results of lab tests.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Looking for a candidate with an Associates degree OR High School Diploma W 1 Years or lab or quality experience. Quality OR Laboratory Experience Highly Preferred (can be from school) Qualifications: • Must follow safety guidelines • Effective written and oral communication skills; ability to read/write/speak English • Must be able to follow written instructions for test methods • Must be able to work in a team environment and get along with co-workers • Ability to accurately read a ruler in metric and English units and perform basic mathematics • Exhibit normal color vision • Basic computer skills to enter data into system • Microsoft Word and Excel experience a plus • Good organizational skills • Able to tolerate working around or with solvents, inks and adhesives. • ISO and GMP experience a plus
