Job Title: Quality Technician

Job Description

The Quality Technician role directly supports medical device product development from concept through commercialization. This position will work with a high-performance cross-functional engineering team to ensure safety, quality, and compliance of launched products while continuously improving their commercial value through end-of-life. This position will focus on hands-on testing and assisting in test development to satisfy product requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality assurance, quality control, and quality inspection tasks.
• Prepare engineering and test samples.
• Receive and inspect incoming raw materials.
• Record test results and compare them to acceptance criteria.
• Print and verify finished product labeling.
• Review and approve Product Lot Folders.
• Support equipment installation and qualification activities.
• Assist in the development of internal and supplier-based quality plans.

Essential Skills

• 1 years of experience in medical device work history.
• Proficiency with micrometers, microscopes, and calipers.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills.
• Experience with quality check, visual inspection, and non-conforming product management.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and quality assurance standards.
• Ability to perform quality improvement tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in blueprint reading.

Work Environment

The work environment involves hands-on testing and inspections using micrometers, microscopes, and calipers. The role requires adherence to quality assurance standards and ISO standards. The position involves a mix of lab work and office tasks, with an emphasis on proper documentation and compliance with safety regulations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00
