Description:
The Research Lab Tech will provide support to scientists, engineers and research teams on a daily basis. This position will assist in daily lab operation activities and research & development projects to meet the development requirements within corporate timelines. - Preparing reagents and/or media - Loading/unloading samples from small scale machinery and equipment - Loading/unloading and operating autoclave - Cleaning lab glassware - Cleaning and maintaining lab equipment - Inventory and stocking of lab supplies - Performing other duties as assigned

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, Biomanufacturing, or a related field of study - 0 to 2 years of experience in a lab environment - Good written and verbal communication - Understanding of lab record keeping and organizational skills - Listens to instruction, learns quickly, and adheres to standard operating procedures - Committed to safety and quality - Works well in a team environment - Able to work with spreadsheets and handheld electronic batch record software
