Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Description

Join our multidisciplinary engineering firm based in Seattle as we seek a seasoned Senior Electrical Engineer to enhance our industrial project capabilities. With at least 8 years of electrical system design experience, the ideal candidate will also bring proven skills in client interactions and managing the design process. While a PE license is preferred, a minimum requirement is an EIT license. Your primary responsibilities will include the design of industrial power, communications, lighting, and control systems, covering areas such as medium and low voltage power distribution, emergency and standby power distribution systems, grounding, controls, and low voltage systems (telecommunications, security, CCTV, access controls). Additionally, you will conduct load studies, fault current analysis, coordination/arc flash hazard studies, and create specifications. Your role will also extend to construction support, involving submittal and shop drawing review, contractor requests for information, and site inspections.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Seattle, Washington and some days remote.

Work Environment

You will be part of a dedicated team of 18 professionals in the electrical group, comprising both engineers and designers. We operate in a hybrid work model, requiring your presence in the office Monday through Wednesday, with optional remote work on Thursday and Friday.
