Description
We are seeking a Firmware Engineer to join our staff in support of a cutting edge ISR sensors for airborne missions. This person will be a critical member of the team as we go from developing the prototypes to developing a manufactured sensor that will be going into theatre.
Responsibilities:
• Under guidance from sr staff, implement algorithms and interfaces in FPGAs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and specifications as they relate to assigned tasking
• Creating and maintaining design documentation and test plans
• Near term tasking may be related to RF systems for airborne applications, but you may be tasked on other applications as needed

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Required Experience:
• 7 Years of experience with FPGA and SoC design entry using Verilog or VHDL
• Experience with design flow for Xilinx and/or Intel FPGAs
• Experience with simulation tools such as ModelSim/Questa, VCS, or Incisive
• Demonstrated experience in delivery of advanced development hardware
• Experience in preparing and delivering briefings, familiarity with the execution of technical reviews (SRRs, PDRs, CDRs, TIMS)
• Experience should include a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Engineering
Nice to have:
• Understanding of and experience with RF systems and their principles of design, development, requirements verification, test planning, test execution, and data analysis.
• Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance
• Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas: radar systems, electronic warfare, microwave engineering, analog and digital signal processing, embedded software development, physics modeling and simulation
• Experience with Matlab, Python, or C/C
• Experience with interfacing to high speed DACs and ADCs
• Experience with Digital Signal Processing

The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $90.00
