Job Title: Project Manager

Job Description

Actalent is seeking to hire a Project Manager, who will be overseeing the planning and implementation of projects, including budgeting, hiring team members, sourcing suppliers, and planning the project release. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set to effectively manage project timelines, resources, and client communications. Strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of project management methodologies are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans that identify resource and budgetary needs
• Host project meetings at least once a week with team and managers
• Provide feedback, advice, project updates, and encouragement to team members
• Manage deadlines and push the team to ensure timeliness
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as needed

Essential Skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in project management software
• 4 years of project/program management experience
• Experience working and overseeing large-scale projects from NPD through to final product
• Experience using ERP systems at a high level
• Experience overseeing designs and specifications within ABS rules and USCG regulations
• Experience interfacing with customers and other departments to meet deadlines
• B.S. in an engineering field

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• PMP certification
• Experience working in shipyard, marine, construction, or large complex fabrication industries
• Experience working in DOD/DOT projects involving certain levels of quality control
• Experience working with clients and extensive interpersonal skills

Work Environment

The individual will be working fully onsite with the ability to work a flexible schedule, coming in earlier or later depending on morning and afternoon commitments outside of work. The position requires being in the office 90% of the time, collaborating with other PMs and engineers. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $150000.00
