What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Software Engineer position at Actalent?
We are looking for a software engineer to join the Sonatech Software team. Must be a self-motivated individual with experience writing clean and maintainable software that will be used in embedded SONAR systems.
Sonatech, LLC is a premier undersea acoustics engineering and manufacturing company. Responsibilities
-- Design and develop complex application software in support of next generation SONAR systems
-- Technical lead and software architect for small development team
-- Design containerized applications for Linux
-- Work with systems engineers to implement complex algorithms that are efficient and maintainable
-- Write technical documentation
-- Write automated unit tests
Requirements
-- B.S. in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
-- 10 years professional experience in software development
-- Strong C and C skills
-- Experience developing real-time Linux applications
-- Experience with containerized software
-- Experience writing code to run in a datacenter (desirable)
-- Understanding of Cyber Security (desirable)
-- Understanding of digital signal processing (desirable)
-- US Citizenship
