What are the responsibilities and job description for the Specimen Processor position at Actalent?
This Core Lab is looking to fill a vast amount of positions for IMMEDIATE OPENINGS in the Lancaster Area.
Candidate must have a HS diploma, they do not need prior experience in a lab or working with human samples. Candidate will be supporting the business by processing incoming specimens, capturing data, and ensuring documentation is complete. They will be fully responsible for the entire process of the shipments of specimens and following Standard Operating Procedures.
Position Details
1st shift - 7am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with Alternating Saturday shift 11am-7:30pm - $18/hour
2nd shift - 2:00pm to 10:30pm, Monday to Friday, with Alternating Saturday shift 11am-7:30pm - $18/hour
Work Environment
Working within the core lab and reporting to the specimen manager.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Basic knowledge of English, both written and oral.
• May experience prolonged exposure to low temperatures.
• Standing may exceed 50% of the time.
• Prolonged usage of computer systems (>75%).
• Ability to lift ≤25lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to bend and lift required.
• Ability to follow priorities, pay attention to detail, follow SOPs, and work accurately under deadlines.
