Job Title: Construction Superintendent

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to provide daily on-site supervision of subcontractors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction and will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily on-site supervision of subcontractors
• Monitor contractor production, schedule, and performance
• Manage subcontractor Daily Production Reports
• Assist with coordination aspects as directed by the Project Manager
• Conduct safety audits and assist with contractor quality control and safety at construction locations
• Assist subcontractors with Federal procedures and rules
• Ensure contractors complete work on schedule while fulfilling warranty issues
• Communicate daily status of current projects to Project Manager to ensure all projects are timely and within company standards
• Maintain 100% Safety Standards and Accountability in all areas or mandatory/regulatory requirements
• Take necessary action when behaviors or conditions around you may be unsafe
• Report and address all potential safety concerns/incidents/issues promptly
• Certify that all submittals are in compliance with contract requirements
• Review plans and specifications to ensure requirements are met for each construction process
• Review all catalog cuts and material submittals for compliance with plans and specifications
• Ensure effective and timely preventive and corrective actions are taken and recurrence of problems is eliminated or minimized
• Conduct pre-final inspections, establish a punch list if required, and ensure all deficiencies are corrected
• Submit as-builts on finished projects

Work Environment

The work environment includes daily on-site supervision at construction locations. The role requires strict adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements. The candidate will work closely with subcontractors and the Project Manager to ensure all projects are completed efficiently and safely.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.86 - $52.88
