Job Title: Technical Writer

• We are seeking a highly experienced and energetic Technical Writer in Colorado Springs to support critical operations for the US Space Force, Space Systems Command.
• This role involves performing operational maintenance and sustainment of ground-based radars essential to US and Allied strategic missile surveillance, warning, defense, and space surveillance missions.
• The Technical Writer will work closely with the government customer, the Program Manager, and the Chief Engineer to plan, develop, and deliver coherent and responsive radar hardware and software modifications in response to change requests and deficiency reports.
• This includes writing and editing complex engineering specifications, user manuals, reports, briefings, presentations, guidelines, and other project deliverables to meet contract requirements.

Hard Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• 5 years’ experience
• Active Secret Clearance
• Ability to gather and interpret complex technical information

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Colorado Springs, Colorado and some days remote.

Work Environment

This role requires on-site collaboration in Colorado Springs and involves working closely with government and engineering teams to ensure the highest standards of documentation and operational support.
