Description:
This company designs test equipment for telecommunication products. Candidate will partner with the R&D team on new products to come up with test solutions in manufacturing environment. Candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing test solutions, working with the design team on new product development. As they are designing the product, developing a manufacturing test strategy/mini product manager. Developing the test system of how to test the system, maintain costs, creating project plan, understanding that there is both SW/hardware elements involved to test. Managing the procurement of that hardware, documenting the test requirements and the system requirements.
- System Test Requirements
- Documentation of development of test stand and the product of the test stand developed
- Software development/automation
- Validating that everything works as expected
- Traveling to production site to setup the test stand
- They use a common test platform- NI test stand is what they use. Common look/feel with test solutions, everyone operates with those.
- Individuals can use C, Python, C within test stand based on their preference.
- NPD within automation and then manual testing with old tools/existing.
- Day breakdown- 40% development, 40% documentation, 20% R D group functional working

- 5 years of programming in ANSI, Embedded C, Python, C , etc. (open to more junior level candidates 2 years)
- Degree in STEM field
- Knowledge of industry standard test technologies and methods using test equipment such as Network Analyzers, Signal (Spectrum) Analyzers, Measurement Receivers, Signal Generators, Audio Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, and DMMs.
- Systems Requirements development – developing requirements to make sure the product was working correctly
