ERP Programmer / Analyst

What You'll Do

Application Development

• Analyze business requirements to design conceptual and technical solutions.
• Create detailed program specifications for enhancement requests.
• Translate specifications into logic using programming languages.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain ERP applications; support upgrades and updates.
• Test new/enhanced applications using sample data to validate functionality.
• Design and build integrations between the ERP system and third-party platforms.
• Build scalable proof-of-concept prototypes for business use cases.
• Manage the technical aspects of projects, including third-party coordination.
• Map technical processes and contribute to business process automation.
• Develop RESTful web services and API-driven solutions.
• Leverage full-stack development tools and SOA best practices.

Application Support

• Provide daily support to ERP users on process and functionality questions.
• Troubleshoot application issues and resolve system interruptions.
• Fix bugs stemming from software updates, business changes, or system limits.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5 years of application development and ERP support experience.
• 5 years of hands-on experience with MS SQL or other relational databases.
• 5 years of experience working with ERP systems (preferably Epicor).
• 5 years of experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• 3 years with C# and/or VB.NET.
• 3 years developing SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) reports.
• Familiarity with C and fundamental software development concepts.
• Strong skills in application testing, documentation, and optimization.
• Experience with algorithm design and performance tuning.
• Solid grasp of API development and integration best practices.

Business & Systems Knowledge

• Understanding of ERP system architecture and data structures.
• Familiarity with Epicor’s development toolkit.
• Knowledge of integrations including EDI, ACH processing, credit card, and PayPal.
• Experience working with platforms like Magento and Sunset.
• Proficient in SQL for querying and updating data.
• Able to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and adaptable to evolving technologies.
