Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Payroll Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting the full-cycle payroll process for approximately 1,300 employees in partnership with the payroll team. The ideal candidate is familiar with ADP Workforce Now, highly proficient in Excel (including pivot tables), and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process bi-weekly, full-cycle payroll for assigned employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain and audit employee payroll records, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and provide excellent internal customer service.
- Prepare and analyze payroll reports using Excel, including pivot tables and other functions.
- Ensure accurate processing of garnishments, benefits, and other deductions.
- Assist with year-end payroll processes, including W-2 preparation and audits.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree (AA) in Accounting, Business, or related field required.
- 1–2 years of full-cycle payroll processing experience.
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and data analysis.
- Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and organizational skills.
- Healthcare industry experience is a plus but not required.
