The Purchasing Specialist will play a key role in procuring materials and parts required to fulfill custom product builds. You’ll collaborate closely with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure smooth production operations and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procure necessary materials based on customer specifications and production schedules
- Review and process quotes and purchase orders on a per-project basis
- Coordinate with suppliers to manage lead times, pricing, and delivery terms
- Maintain and update procurement records in the system
- Resolve purchasing holds by communicating with vendors and internal departments
- Monitor performance metrics such as job cycle time and completion rate
- Handle RMA processing and vendor returns
- Support cost control goals through negotiation and strategic purchasing
- Perform additional procurement-related tasks as needed
- Experience in purchasing, supply chain, or procurement—preferably in a manufacturing setting
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (flexibility available)
- Work Setting: 100% in-office
- Assignment Type: Temporary (2 weeks)
