Location: Hybrid work schedule near Northbrook, IL (Onsite Tuesday–Thursday; Remote Monday & Friday)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day operations of the corporate accounting function
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including consolidations and reporting
- Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements for accuracy and compliance
- Manage and develop a high-performing accounting team
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, identifying trends and variances
- Drive process improvements and enhance accounting systems and workflows
- Interpret and implement new accounting standards as needed
- Serve as the primary contact for internal and external audits
- Support intercompany accounting and ensure alignment across business units
- Partner with cross-functional teams on financial systems, controls, and special projects
- Assist with acquisition integration and ensure consistent accounting practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5–7 years of progressive accounting/finance experience (7 preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of management experience
- Strong technical accounting skills and working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management capabilities
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP experience a plus)
- CPA and/or MBA strongly preferred
Salary : $140,000 - $160,000
