What are the responsibilities and job description for the Women's Health Ultrasound Technician position at Adirondack Health?
Position Summary:
1. Develop a Womens Health Imaging program within the Womens Health Center
2. Develop quality initiatives to improve service of Ultrasound imaging in the Womens Health Center
3. Obtain and maintain AIMU certification
4. Manage scheduling of patients for ultrasound Imaging
Educational Requirements/ Qualifications:
- High school diploma and or GED
- Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound Technology program
- RDMS certification in OB/GYN Ultrasonography
- 5 or more years of experience in OB/GYN specialized ultrasonography preferred
- Accreditation by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) experience
- Certification as an RDMS in cardiology
Salary Range:
$31.72 - $44.78 per hour
