Job Details:
- Monthly Close & Variance Analysis: Perform and review monthly accounting close activities, including variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, and journal entries to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Manufacturing Site Collaboration: Work closely with manufacturing sites to understand and analyze manufacturing variances, balance sheet reconciliations, and volume forecasts to ensure alignment with financial expectations.
- Inventory Reporting & Variance Analysis: Consolidate and report site inventory balances by product/site, performing detailed monthly variance analysis to identify and address discrepancies.
- Standard Costing & Updates: Participate in the annual standard costing process and manage ad hoc updates as required by distribution sites to ensure accurate costing data.
- Internal Controls & SOX Compliance: Exercise sound judgment, initiative, and a strong internal control focus when handling quarterly SOX process certification, including compiling, sampling, and reviewing control documentation.
- Audit Preparation & Support: Prepare and review audit schedules, responding to complex questions from internal and external auditors to ensure audit readiness and compliance.
- Process Improvement & Cross-Training: Identify opportunities to streamline assigned processes and cross-train with peers to increase operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with stakeholders to proactively determine and implement continuous improvement opportunities to optimize the accounting close process.
- Special Projects & Global Accounting: Manage special projects requiring Global Accounting representation, such as company expansion, business acquisitions and divestitures, and financial system implementations.
- Outsourced Team Management: Lead and manage the outsourced provider team, ensuring timely and accurate completion of accounting tasks and adherence to company standards.

- Support the inventory accounting for Affiliates
- Review the work of outsourced resources
- Analyze, prepare and book entries and reconcile inventory related transactions
