What are the responsibilities and job description for the Foster Care Administrative Assistant position at Adoption Connection PA?
- Maintain a supply of all necessary foster care forms
- Assemble packets for potential resource family orientations and training
- Assemble packets for caseworkers
- Forward foster care informational packets to potential resource families
- Request family references and ensure all necessary paperwork is received/reviewed/filed
- Maintain all family document tracking system
Fiscal responsibilities:
- Create and submit monthly foster care invoices
- Creating foster family payment sheet to submit to Finance Manager
- Assist with county contracts
Other responsibilities:
- Notarize forms as required
- Participate in staff meetings & trainings
- Provide technical assistance when possible
- Assist with agency events as needed
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of High School Diploma
- At least three years of administrative experience is preferred.
- Must have a working knowledge of current office practices, strong organizational skills and be able to communicate effectively with others.
