The Role:
As a member of Foundry Technology Operations (FTO), PDK Design Enablement Team, you will help to enable Cadence Design Tools on industry leading technologies.
The Person:
A successful candidate will work closely with AMD custom design teams, both circuit designers and physical design teams, to develop and maintain a Cadence design environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development and maintenance of custom layout and schematic capture tools including schematic symbol libraries, layout pcell libraries, layer maps, layout productivity tools and regression flows
- PDK support including PDK release process
- Troubleshoot and resolve pcell, schematic netlisting, and layout productivity tool bugs
- Develop regression flows to maintain high quality design environment
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with Cadence Skill programming language
- Experience with PERL and/or PYTHON programming language
- Understand Physical Design and Physical Verification practices
Academic Credentials:
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering
