OVERVIEW:
The Tax Associate responsible for corporate tax return preparation and review under direct supervision and may be assigned in-charge responsibilities. Position open to experienced candidates who needs visa support as well.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT ARE LIMITED TO:
* Preparing tax returns by utilizing tax software and process tax returns both paper file and e-file.
* Collaborating with client to gather information and perform effective tax services.
* Identifying tax issues and provide tax analysis and recommendations.
* Researching a tax matter by using tax software and databases.
* Respond to inquiries from the Federal and State tax authorities.
* Building strong relationships with client by understanding of client operations and business objectives, and utilize that knowledge on engagements.
* Other duties will be assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* 1 years of Tax experience in public accounting firm required.
* Bachelor's degree in accounting or other relevant field required.
* Eligible to sit for the CPA exams required.
* Japanese bilingual is not required but strongly preferred.
