About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to support quality engineering initiatives within a regulated medical device manufacturing environment. In this role, you'll serve as a key quality representative, partnering cross-functionally to ensure products, processes, and systems meet internal standards, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements.
This position offers hands-on involvement in new product development, manufacturing support, and quality system improvements, with opportunities to lead initiatives and mentor technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and champion departmental and cross-functional quality engineering initiatives
- Provide project direction, coaching, and technical mentoring to engineering teams
- Proactively identify, investigate, and implement best-in-class quality engineering practices
- Serve as a technical mentor for identifying, analyzing, and resolving quality issues
- Design and implement effective process controls to support product development, validation, and ongoing manufacturing
- Lead and support CAPA, assurance activities, and process control systems
- Apply structured problem-solving methodologies to prioritize, communicate, and resolve quality issues
- Support the development and execution of streamlined quality and business systems
- Ensure compliance with all applicable quality system requirements and regulations

Required Qualifications
- Education & Experience:
- BS: 5-8 years
- MS: 3-6 years
- PhD: 0-3 years
- 2-5 years of Quality Engineering experience in the medical device industry
- Strong experience with Process Validation and Equipment Qualification
- Hands-on manufacturing line support experience
- Working knowledge of regulated quality systems (FDA, ISO)
