What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Specialist position at Advantex Professional Services?
We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for a long term temporary need. Great hybrid position, 2 days in the office and 3 days remote. Our client is a well-established manufacturing company located near the Irvine Spectrum with a great company culture.
Pay is $26.00 to $27.00 per hour.
Key Duties for the Accounts Payable Specialist:
- Will be responsible for processing the full cycle AP
- Match, batch and process invoices
- Audit the expense reports for compliance
- Handle the vendor reconciliations
- Handle the research and discrepancies
- Collection information for the W9, ACH, etc.
- Assist with the monthly close process
Key Requirements for the Accounts Payable Specialist Requirements:
- 3 years of full cycle AP processing
- 2 years of automated AP experience
- Strong Excel skills (vlookup/pivot tables)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- JD Edwards, SAP or any large ERP system experience
- Experience with Concur
