Salary: $90,000–$115,000

We are seeking a proven Accounts Receivable Manager to own and lead the full A/R, invoicing, and collections function for a service-based organization. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong process-building skills and the ability to manage complex customer payment issues while driving consistent cash flow results.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the full A/R, invoicing, and collections process end to end
• Oversee weekly invoicing tied to payroll and time reporting
• Monitor A/R aging, collections activity, and dispute resolution
• Manage customer setup, billing requirements, and documentation
• Build, document, and continuously improve SOPs for all A/R and billing processes
• Lead, train, and mentor the A/R team to ensure high performance
• Monitor payment plans, escalate high-risk accounts, and resolve complex payment issues
• Handle difficult customer conversations and enforce payment terms
• Partner with operations and finance to support cash flow and business goals
• Identify risks, gaps, and process improvements and take ownership of solutions

Requirements

• 5 years of accounts receivable experience, including management responsibility
• Must have experience in a service-based industry
• Strong experience owning A/R, collections, and invoicing processes
• Proven expertise building and documenting SOPs
• Experience managing payment plans and high-risk accounts
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Results-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with minimal direction
• Ability to work cross-functionally with operations and finance
