SS&C Advent, a leading provider of innovative software and services for the global investment management industry, is seeking an Implementation Data Conversion Consultant to join our industry leading Black Diamond Wealth Platform. In a nutshell, Black Diamond’s cloud-based platform allows financial advisors to manage their client’s complete wealth picture through portfolio management, reporting, rebalancing solutions, and full data management services. You will be working specifically on our Data Conversion team, an integral (and we think the most important!) part of the greater Implementation Team. Your job as a Consultant is to understand our platform’s usage of data, know our ETL/Data Conversion process inside and out, and consult with our clients to form and execute a plan to get all of their historical data into our platform. This is not just a boring and behind-the-scenes ETL role; it’s much more dynamic than that. You will truly be consulting with our clients by understanding their needs, analyzing their data (yes, you’ll get to spend plenty of time immersed in spreadsheets...because you love that, remember?), developing and executing a project plan, and directing the validation of their conversion to ensure the project was successful. It’s as much about data analysis as it is about project management and client consulting. Position candidates should be highly motivated with excellent communication and analytical skills in order to: Operate our proprietary ETL/Data Conversion tools and work with huge datasets Efficiently manage 12-15 client configuration projects at once Communicate with clients in a proactive, consultative & professional manner Consult, Design, and Deliver Conversion Plans, working directly with client decision-makers Decipher, process and follow through on client requests Additional Qualification Requirements: 3-5 years of experience in the Financial Services industry or in a Project Management/Software Implementation role We need you to excel at Excel Solution-oriented and analytical mindset Ability to live in “the grey”...no two projects are the same and that has to be ok with you. Strong communication & organizational skills, especially as it relates to client interaction Experience with online meeting tools Bachelor’s Degree from accredited institution Why SS&C?
