Located on a lush tropical campus, our flagship hospital, 1,368-bed AdventHealth Orlando
Serves as the major tertiary facility for much of the Southeast, the Caribbean and South America
AdventHealth Orlando houses one of the largest Emergency Departments and largest cardiac catheterization labs in the country
We are already one of the busiest hospitals in the nation, providing service excellence to more than 32,000 inpatients and 125,000 outpatients each year
The Role You’ll Contribute
Under general supervision, the Lead Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs a variety of technical procedures in the utilization of radionuclides for the diagnosis and treatment of disease in humans. Is authorized and delivers quality care to patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric. Meets with customers, partners and team members to ensure service levels are maintained (Rounding). Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
The Value You’ll Bring To The Team
- Doctorate Required
- Licensed Pharmacist (RPH) Required
- 1 experience as a clinical pharmacist or completion of a Transplant residency Required
- Previous experience in Transplant Pharmacotherapy Required
- Experience with IV Additive Preparation and Unit Dose Dispensing Required
- (PET) ARDMS or ARRT - Positron Emission Tomography
- Bilingual Spanish

- Attend daily medical rounds with surgeon and nurse practitioner. Coordinate treatment plan with other caregivers.
- Prescribe interventions and communicate needed changes to ensure the appropriate individualized plan of care is implemented. Apply knowledge of age-specific needs (pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric) to related plan of care interventions and patient responses to care.
- Provide medication counseling and education to all new transplant patients and provide physician support in hospital and clinic settings.
