- Located on a lush tropical campus, our flagship hospital, 1,368-bed AdventHealth Orlando serves as the major tertiary facility for much of the Southeast, the Caribbean and South America

- We are already one of the busiest hospitals in the nation, providing service excellence to more than 32,000 inpatients and 125,000 outpatients each year
The role you’ll contribute:
The Project Manager will help develop project timelines based on strategic prioritization, planning, and resource utilization. This role is cross-functional as it works closely with workstreams across the consumer scope and interfaces with consumer leaders from the different business entities across the organization. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
- Develops, and/or partners with other assigned product managers or initiative leaders to ensure the development of, the full project plan for each initiative according to standards set by the consumer team.
- Project plans include, but are not limited to, project scope of work, project timelines, communication plan and updates to appropriate stakeholders, project deliverables, defined measurements, metrics, activation, and sustainment strategies for all Consumer Strategy & Design projects undertaken.
- Maintains visibility into all projects within Consumer Strategy & Design scope so leadership can evaluate and execute rapid decision making on strategic initiatives; Develop an overall project view focused on critical priorities to help move projects along and mitigate issues whenever appropriate. This includes maintaining a balanced scorecard to report on key metrics.
- Monitor project risks and scope creep early and often to foresee/identify potential problems, and proactively identify and present solutions to management.
- Collaborates with internal and external subject matter expert stakeholders to understand processes and timelines in order to build accurate and integrated project timelines and deliverables.
- Develop personnel and operational budgets reflecting appropriate funding for all relevant functions and programs. Monitor and evaluate spending with a goal of maximizing cost-effectiveness of operations. Produce financial and operational reports as requested.
- Build compelling presentations to management on project updates, project cycle, and expected results.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver agreed upon requirements, through timely and accurate documentation and effective management of partners to meet key deliverables.
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field of study
- Minimum of five (5) years of related experience in one or more of the areas of project management, organizational change management, process management, business operations or consulting
- Formal project management experience
- Relationship/Stakeholder management experience
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
- Master’s degree in related field of study
- Experience working in healthcare industry, preferably in a hospital setting
- Experience with large scale implementations
- Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) or similar certification related to change management
