Major Responsibilities:
- The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) is an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) that functions at a medical level of care to provide anesthesia, analgesia, and pain management services across the patient lifespan in a variety of settings.
- Clinical responsibilities may include: Ambulatory, surgery center and/or hospital anesthesia services.
- The CRNA participates as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide safe, high quality, cost effective, and evidenced-based care.
- The CRNA demonstrates the highest levels of professionalism and upholds the missions, visions, and values of Advocate Health.
- The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) will provide care within their scope of practice as outlined by applicable state law, licensing, regulations, institutional policy, privileges, and practice agreements.
