Technology & Outsourcing Associate | Charlotte, NC

Our AmLaw 100 client is expanding its nationally recognized Technology & Outsourcing practice and is looking for a skilled associate to join their Charlotte team. This is a great opportunity for someone who appreciates the charm of the South while thriving in high-level, fast-paced deal work.

The Role: This position focuses on major commercial deals where technology takes center stage. From business process outsourcing (BPO) to SaaS and tech procurement, you’ll be helping shape the backbone of how major businesses operate today.

With recognition from Legal 500 US for excellence in technology outsourcing, this team partners with leading companies across finance, healthcare, tech, and telecom. You won’t just handle the paperwork; you’ll be advising on strategy and risk with a voice at the table.

What You'll Tackle:

• Draft and negotiate complex commercial and tech agreements
  

• Steer clients through the full lifecycle from RFP to resolution
  

• Advise on hot topics like AI, cybersecurity, and privacy
  

• Work side by side with M&A and Private Equity teams
  

• Improve contract processes and legal templates
  

Who You Are:

• 5 years of experience in tech-focused commercial contracts
  

• Strong grasp of outsourcing, licensing, SaaS, and procurement work
  

• Licensed in North Carolina, or able to get there through exam or comity
  

• Clear communicator with a strong academic record
  

• Bonus points if you know the in-house side of things or how procurement and legal interact
