AFCO Performance Group is seeking a highly motivated and energetic Sales and Customer Service Representative. The ideal candidate will have a broad range of skills and experience.
BASIC FUNCTION: To support the sales team through effective phone and data entry techniques and quality customer service. Responsible for delivering an outstanding customer service experience to our clients by responding to all inquiries and serving as support to team members to increase sales activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answer multiple client phone calls daily.
- Enter customer orders for all APG brands.
- Service, promote and sell AFCO Performance Group (APG) branded products via phone, e-mail, web, text, social media and occasional in-person interactions.
- Respond to billing, technical, shipping and all other customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Learn our business, products, processes, and customers. Update skills and job knowledge on an on-going basis by reading, attending professional functions, and learning from others.
- Assist our team with the development of solutions to improve workflow and communication.
- Must follow established APG and OSHA safety policies and procedures.
- Will handle various projects assigned to by leadership from time to time.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
- Must be agile and flexible to work in various parts of the business as needed.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, rapidly evolving environment.
PREFERRED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:
- Experience in the motorsports/automotive markets.
- A high degree of professionalism, possess excellent communication skills, demonstrate thoughtful decision making, possess a high attention to detail, and will have the ability to work successfully with little supervision.
- A thorough knowledge of common office software programs such as Excel, Word, and Outlook, as well as the ability to learn new applications to service our clients.
- Excellent computer skills and the ability to work in various customer service web portals.
- A high school diploma or a GED; college degree preferred.
- Teamwork mentality and cooperative attitude toward co-workers and supervisors.
