Campground Maintenance Technician

ASG Management is seeking a versatile and skilled Facility Maintenance technician to join our team. This position will involve working at both our storage facilities and campground, where the individual will be responsible for a wide range of maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our properties.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general grounds maintenance tasks such as mowing, landscaping, weed control, and trash removal to maintain a clean and attractive environment.
• Conduct regular inspections of heating and cooling systems, troubleshoot issues, and perform necessary repairs or maintenance to ensure efficient operation.
• Handle general plumbing tasks including repairs, installations, and maintenance of pipes, fixtures, and water supply systems.
• Carry out basic electrical work such as wiring repairs, outlet installations, and lighting fixture replacements to maintain safety and functionality.
• Perform tree trimming and pruning to ensure the health and aesthetics of trees on the property.
• Utilize construction framing skills to build, repair, or modify structures as needed.
• Apply painting expertise to maintain or enhance the appearance of buildings, fences, and other structures.
• Conduct electrical repairs and maintenance on various equipment and systems.
• Perform mechanical equipment maintenance to keep machinery and appliances in good working condition.
• Install and replace flooring as necessary, including carpet, tile, and laminate.
• Conduct plumbing repairs and maintenance tasks to address leaks, clogs, and other issues.
• Utilize carpentry skills for repairs, installations, and modifications to various structures and fixtures.
• Handle drywall repairs and installations to maintain the integrity and appearance of walls and ceilings.
• Perform tile work for repairs or installations in bathrooms, kitchens, and other areas as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in facility maintenance and handyman work, with expertise in groundskeeping, heating and cooling systems, plumbing, electrical work, tree trimming, construction framing, painting, electrical repairs, mechanical equipment maintenance, flooring installation and replacement, plumbing repairs and maintenance, carpentry, drywall, painting, and tile work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot various maintenance issues effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with staff and customers.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks that may require heavy lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
