Direct Care Staff/Caregiver

• Starting pay $17.50 for awake shifts. No Experience required.

Currently Available Shifts

• Weekdays Monday to Friday, 3pm-11pm.

Description

· Support our clients with disabilities and develop a rapport with them and cultivating a safe and supportive relationship.

· Assisting our clients to thrive in their homes by providing support with completing personal hygiene, grooming, cooking, laundry, cleaning, and shopping.

· Supporting our individuals with connecting in the community by assisting with transportation to work, activities, and appointments and providing support as needed during activities at various community locations.

· Ensure medication is administered (Training provided if not already certified).

· Implementing programs and helping clients with their goals documented in Individual Service Plan.

· Complete all mandatory documentation each shift.

· Engage in meaningful and appropriate activities.

· Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times.

· Ensure workplace remains "inspection ready"

Minimum Requirements for Employment:

· Valid Driver’s License

· Valid Car Insurance

· Reliable Vehicle for transportation

· Proof of Education (High School or GED)

· Pass Background Check (Through Family Care Safety Registry)

· Basic Computer knowledge

· I-9 documents (i.e. - passport, social security card, birth certificate, etc.)

Trainings Required after Hire (most trainings provided at company’s expense)

· CPR/First Aid

· Abuse/Neglect prevention

· Medication Administration

Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age or older. Have High school diploma or equivalency. Successful completion of a criminal background check and E-Verify. Experience working with people with developmental disabilities preferred but not required.

• Weekday M-F, 3pm-11pm
