What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate position at Agilix Solutions?
Agilix Solutions is seeking a customer-oriented individual for our warehouse in our Grenada, MS location to assure excellent customer service to our customers.
The Warehouse Associate position is responsible for shipping, receiving, pulling orders, and delivering supplies promptly and courteously while using excellent driving habits. This position will predominantly handle warehouse duties but will make deliveries as needed.
This role will report to the Branch Manager.
Responsibilities
- Pull purchase orders from ERP system and pick customer orders for shipment with accuracy.
- Maintaining bin/shelf integrity by keeping pulling areas clean of debris (empty cartons, box tops, etc.) and by keeping product organized on shelf.
- Carry or transport orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms with materials handling equipment, ensuring orders are staged properly.
- Operate any materials handling equipment safely and efficiently as required.
- Assist in placing incoming items in inventory.
- Familiarity with an electronic delivery manifest system.
- Deliver material to our customers in a company vehicle as needed.
- Performs additional duties as directed.
- 40 Hour work week (Monday – Friday) with overtime available when approved by manager.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Physical ability to lift heavy weights (up to 75 lbs.).
- Ability to operate a forklift.
- Valid Class “D” driver’s license.
- Clean driving record.
- Customer focused attitude.
- Annual DOT physical is required.
