Health/Nutrition Coordinator
ABCD has provided services to migrant, seasonal, and local farm workers’ children as well as other urban and rural low-income families since 1946. As a non-profit provider of comprehensive child development services for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, the agency serves on average over 1,200 children in nineteen rural New York State counties.

ABCD has a current and immediate opening for a fulltime Health/Nutrition Coordinator for our Middletown Center.
General role:
Under the direction of the Center Director manages overall health and nutrition activities of the center, including supervision of staff in food service and health roles, report writing, maintaining, monitoring, tracking, overseeing and assuring confidentiality of health records. Ensures that children and families have a source of continuous and accessible health care. Assumes lead role in the implementation of Health and Dental Services at the center in collaboration with Family Services Coordinators, Education Coordinators, and Center Directors.
Education / Experience Requirements:
Preferred: U.S. or NYS Certification as Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Registered Nurse.
Accepted: Associates Degree in Health or Human Services or related field with experience and training in child health issues
Spanish/English ability preferred
