Provide pharmaceutical services to inpatients and outpatients. Preparing and dispensing the prescribed medicines to medical practitioners or patients. Counseling heath care providers or patients regarding drug interactions, indications, drug dosage and side effects.
Responsibilities:
- Process medication orders
- Supervise pharmacy technicians
- Complete assigned audits
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
- Licensure as a registered pharmacist by the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation.
