Position Summary:
To be successful in this role, candidates must have tangible experience with NetSuite (required experience) and must be computer savvy and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to triage and prioritize projects and deadlines.
Essential Job Functions:
- Ability to process 100-200 invoices per week, with attention to detail.
- Request and manage vendors’ aging.
- Familiarity with rental & lease invoices.
- Receives and verifies expense reports; reconciles expense and other financial reports with account balances and other office records.
- Facilitates payment of vendors, which may include verification of federal ID numbers, reviewing purchase orders, and resolving discrepancies.
- Ensures outstanding obligations are credited upon payment, identifies discount opportunities, and issues purchase order amendments or stop-payment orders as needed.
- Assists with accounting records and ledgers by reconciling monthly statements and transactions.
- Communicate with Vendors as needed.
- Daily interaction with the Maintenance Team to verify open items.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- 4-5 years of minimum experience in accounts payable or accounting.
- Tangible experience with NetSuite. Minimum of two years. Required!
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Goal-oriented, highly motivated self-starter who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong work ethic with high personal standards for quality of work.
- Must be reliable and extremely trustworthy.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Education:
- High school diploma required; Business or Accounting degree preferred.
Pay:
The pay is hourly; $28.00/hour.
Assignment Summary:
- Temporary (Part Time).
- Monday - Friday.
- 20 Hours - 25 Hours per week.
