A leading regional law firm is seeking an experienced Trusts & Estates Attorney to join its growing Estate Planning and Administration practice. This opportunity is available in either the Charlotte, NC or Rock Hill, SC office, offering a collaborative team environment and opportunities for long-term growth.
About the Role:
The attorney will work directly with individuals and families on estate planning, trust administration, and wealth transfer strategies. The role includes drafting core and advanced estate planning documents, advising on fiduciary responsibilities, and handling estate/trust administration matters.
Key Responsibilities:

Draft estate planning documents including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives

Advise clients on estate and gift tax matters, asset protection, and succession planning

Handle all aspects of estate and trust administration

Maintain strong, long-term client relationships with a proactive and responsive approach

Collaborate with team members to support business development efforts and client service excellence
Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in trusts and estates planning and administration

Admission to the North Carolina Bar is required

South Carolina Bar admission preferred, or willingness to become licensed

Excellent drafting, research, and client communication skills
