Aiphone Corporation is looking for a Regional Sales Representative in the Metro NY area. We offer a competitive base salary and benefits. This position is eligible for commission and quarterly bonuses.
As a Regional Sales Representative, you will be responsible for assisting in the sales of Aiphone's products throughout a defined geographical region, industry, or product line.
Essential Functions
- Achieve annual goals assigned by Sales Director including but not limited to regional sales quotas, new product sales, customer training, strategic account management
- Assist in managing the company's relationships with all local, regional and national accounts
- Assist distributors and dealers with the development of new business opportunities
- Help develop short and long-range sales objectives, plan strategies for attainment and develop sales performance standards for measuring progress
Additional Responsibilities
- Reports to Sales Director as required regarding progress towards assigned goals
- Attend training classes, both technical and sales, for various accounts
- Compiles and analyzes sales data
- Uses company resources and self-training techniques to learn: Company sales and marketing goals and strategies: Product information including technical and application; Effective use of account management and presentation tools.
- Maintain and update customer database
- Other duties as required
Working Environment
This position requires working out of a home office and includes travel to various company, industry, and customer-related events on an international, national, regional, or local basis.
Qualifications
Proficiencies
- Must reside in theNYCarea, and know how to travel throughout the Manhattan and Brooklyn areas.
- Must be self-motivated and well-organized and able to work within a team and independently
- Good analytical ability with a high degree of accuracy
- Must have a positive attitude and be able to manager the work flow to achieve maximum productivity
- Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manager multiple projects simultaneously and drive project deadlines including strong time management skills
Skills, Education and Experience
- College degree preferred or equivalent experience in the sales of product within the industry, or product segment
- Minimum of 2 years sales management experience
- Experience in business to business, channel and consumer marketing.
- Must have experience selling to dealers and distributors security solutions especially intercom and access control products
- Knowledge of Manhattan and Brooklynareasecurity dealers and distributors.
- Salary is negotiable
- Must have technical experience working with IP security products
