Job Title : Service Manager
Location : Riviera Beach, FL
Position Summary : The Service Manager is primarily responsible for directing and managing service personnel to ensure high-quality work is performed in line with company standards. This role involves supervising, coaching, and developing technicians while ensuring optimal customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Supervise, coach, and develop service personnel to enhance performance and technical proficiency.
- Ensure service and shop technicians adhere to company standards and practices
- Maintain a repository of technical data and training tools
- Oversee ongoing training initiatives to improve job performance and technical skills.
- Ensure all work is conducted in a cost-effective manner that meets customer needs.
- Verify and approve service personnel timecards; analyze billed service hours to meet efficiency goals.
- Provide coaching and feedback to employees for performance improvement.
- Enforce safety measures and ensure all service employees receive appropriate training.
- Monitor timely completion of tasks, ensuring compliance with performance, quality, and customer service standards.
- Resolve customer complaints in a timely manner ensuring customer satisfaction
- Ensure service technicians’ work is submitted completely and clearly to allow for accurate and timely invoicing.
- Manage follow-up work to ensure all customer needs are addressed promptly.
- Oversee efficient and effective responses to emergency service calls.
- Ensure service department vehicles and properly stocked, organized and maintained.
- Ensure all equipment serviced for rental and resale is functioning correctly.
Supervisory Responsibilities :
Recruit, train, and develop service staff.Provide ongoing supervision and performance evaluation for team members.Competencies :

Required : High School Diploma with vocational training in electrical, mechanical, compressor repair, or equivalent experience.Required : Minimum of 5 years as a service and repair technician for compressor systems or related experience.Preferred : At least 5 years of supervisory experience in repair and service.Licensing / Certification :
Required : Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.Skills :
Computer Skills : Proficiency in Excel and Word; willingness to learn Salesforce.Physical Demands :
Body Positions : Ability to stand, squat, and stoop while repairing equipment; sit at a desk for administrative tasks.Body Movements : Walking, lifting, carrying, pulling, bending, and reaching as necessary. Must be able to lift as allowed by law.Body Senses : Full use of vision and hearing for effective communication with staff and customers.Work Environment :
