Description
The Shipping/Receiving Associate. This position will include duties such as vendor receiving processing and shipping of products. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under general supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment Reports to the Regional Production Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Ship and receive inventory in the warehouse
- Use the business system to input and retrieve data
- Verify accuracy and quality in accordance with established procedures
- Create and maintain bins related to material for upcoming production orders
- Perform other related tasks as needed
Requirements
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, and Outlook
- ERP/MRP system experience is a plus
- Must have precise detail orientation as well as organization and time management abilities
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production office environment
