The Shipping and Receiving Associate will play a crucial role in managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency in all shipping processes.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against packing slips or invoices.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and arranging for carrier pickup or drop-off.
- Utilize PC skills to update shipping records, maintain inventory databases, and generate shipping documents.
- Coordinate with carriers for domestic and international shipments, ensuring compliance with shipping regulations and documentation requirements.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts, stock replenishment, and organization of storage areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping and receiving area, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment and resolve any shipping-related issues promptly.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and strong work ethic, contributing to a productive and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in PC skills
- Experience with inventory management is a plus
- Familiarity with UPS & FedEx online platforms is advantageous
- Knowledge of international shipping procedures is beneficial
- Excellent attendance record and positive attitude are essential
Working Hours: 8am-4:30pm
Compensation: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
