Job Summary:
AW Texas IT Application Specialist, reporting to IT Manager, will be responsible for maintaining and improving IT applications, capability and functionality, such production, payroll, ERP system and other business applications. He/she will be responsible for maintaining and updating technical documentation and manage all software licensing for AWTX. IT Application Specialist will provide technical support to end users. Additionally, IT Application Specialist will be align with Headquarters and related companies in the region.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain and enforce IT Policies and procedures.
- Provide hands-on troubleshooting support to end users
- Collaborate with other IT Team members.
- Assist in and be involved in all short-term and long-term planning, including scheduling, budgeting and cos/benefit analysis.
- Summarize requirements with business side to organize IT projects
- Maintain and update technical documentation.
- Design /Analysis/Research/Planning related to new implementations and upgrades.
- Keep records of all end users requests
- Keep records of number of users and applications/Licensing.
- Monitor system’s performance.
- Standardization and documentation of duties and continuous improvement.
- Estimating, executing and reporting IT cost and workload of IT activities and projects.
- Serve as a liaison with Corporate IT department, Aisin group companies IT.
- Periodically report project status, incidents, etc.to the management team and other team members.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Communication: Able to communicate in a clear, articulate and professional manner on a daily basis via written and oral. Including the ability to extract business needs/requirements from business areas and transform them into functional requirements for the IT group.
- Planning/Organizational: Able to prioritize work activities, use time efficiently and work through projects in a self-motivated manner balancing efforts between contracts, vendor agreements, and pricing requests.
- Problem-solving: Able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information skillful; able to apply independent judgement on a regular basis in making decisions.

- Must have competency with administration of Windows Servers, ERP systems (MS Dynamics AX preferred) and Payroll system (ADP preferred)
- Must have competency with MS SQL, DB2 or other Database management
- Summary requirements with business side and suggest appropriate options of IT solution with seeing quality, cost and delivery time.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor degree in management information system, information technology, computer science or related field required.
- Microsoft certification of any database and other certifications are preferred
- At least 3 years of professional experience in enterprise IT with daily operation, troubleshooting for database and application and executing assigned projects.
